How to Add Additional Ports

When Do You Need Additional Ports?

You may need extra ports for:

• Simple Voice Chat mod — Requires a separate UDP port
• DynMap — Requires a separate port for the web map
• GeyserMC — May need a separate Bedrock port
• Other plugins/mods that listen on their own ports

How to Add a Port

You can allocate additional ports yourself directly from the game panel:

1. Log into your Pterodactyl game panel
2. Select your server
3. Go to the Network tab
4. Click Create Allocation to add a new port
5. The new port will be assigned automatically

Port Limit

Each server can have up to 3 port allocations by default (including your primary port). If you need more than 3, open a Technical Support ticket and we'll increase your allocation limit.

After Adding a Port

1. Note the port number shown in the Network tab
2. Configure your mod or plugin to use that port number
3. Restart your server
