## Welcome to AgilaHost!
Congratulations on your new Minecraft server. This guide will walk you through everything you need to do after purchase.
## Step 1: Check Your Email
After payment, you'll receive an email with your server credentials including:
- **Panel URL** — The link to your Pterodactyl game panel
- **Username** — Your email address
- **Password** — Your panel login password
- **Server IP and Port** — What players use to connect
## Step 2: Log Into the Game Panel
Visit your panel URL and log in with the credentials from your email. You'll see your server listed on the dashboard.
## Step 3: Start Your Server
Click on your server, then click the green **Start** button. Wait for the console to show the server is online. The first start may take a minute as it generates the world.
## Step 4: Accept the EULA
Minecraft requires you to accept their End User License Agreement. If the server stops with an EULA message:
- Go to the **Files** tab
- Open **eula.txt**
- Change to
- Save and restart the server
## Step 5: Connect to Your Server
Open Minecraft, click **Multiplayer** → **Add Server**, and enter your server's IP address and port (e.g., ).
## Common First-Time Issues
- **"Can't connect"** — Make sure you're using the correct IP:Port, your Minecraft version matches the server version, and you're using the right edition (Java vs Bedrock)
- **Server goes offline after starting** — Check the console for errors. Usually it's a missing EULA acceptance or a version mismatch
- **Lag on first join** — The server is generating chunks. This is normal and improves after the initial exploration
