Welcome to AgilaHost!
Congratulations on your new Minecraft server. This guide walks you through everything you need to do after purchase.
Step 1: Check Your Email
After payment, you will receive an email with your server credentials:
- Panel URL — The link to your Pterodactyl game panel
- Username — Your email address
- Password — Your panel login password
- Server IP and Port — What players use to connect
Step 2: Accept the EULA
Minecraft requires you to accept the End User License Agreement before the server will start.
- Log into your game panel and select your server
- Go to the Startup tab
- Find the EULA variable and set it to
true - Alternatively, go to the Files tab, open
eula.txt, and changeeula=falsetoeula=true
Step 3: Start Your Server
- Go to the Console tab
- Click Start
- Wait for the server to finish loading — you will see
Done!in the console when it is ready. First startup can take 2–5 minutes
Step 4: Connect
See our How to Connect guide for detailed instructions on joining from Java or Bedrock Edition.
Common First-Time Issues
- Server goes offline after starting — Check the console for errors. Usually it is a missing EULA acceptance or a version mismatch
- Lag on first join — The server is generating chunks. This is normal and improves after the initial exploration
- "Unable to access jarfile" — See our Jarfile Error Fix guide
Next Steps
- Install plugins or mods — See our Mods and Plugins Guide
- Change server version — Use the Version Changer tool in your panel
- Set up crossplay — See our GeyserMC Guide for Java + Bedrock crossplay
