## When Do You Need Additional Ports?
You may need extra ports for:
- **Simple Voice Chat mod** — Requires a separate UDP port
- **DynMap** — Requires a separate port for the web map
- **GeyserMC** — May need a separate Bedrock port
- **Other plugins/mods** that listen on their own ports
## How to Add a Port
You can allocate additional ports yourself directly from the game panel:
- Log into your Pterodactyl game panel
- Select your server
- Go to the **Network** tab
- Click **Create Allocation** to add a new port
- The new port will be assigned automatically
## Port Limit
Each server can have up to **3 port allocations** by default (including your primary port). If you need more than 3, open a **Technical Support** ticket and we'll increase your allocation limit.
## After Adding a Port
- Note the port number shown in the Network tab
- Configure your mod or plugin to use that port number
- Restart your server
